First, we would like to thank you for participating in the 17th Oita Asian Sculpture Exhibition. 

The first round of judging for the 17th Oita Asian Sculpture Exhibition was held in February, and 58 works were selected from a total of 209 entries from 11 countries and one region. The reception numbers for those who passed are as follows.

The plan is to hold a second round of judging in late March, and select approximately 30 works from among the 58 works that passed the first round. The results of the second screening will be announced around early April. Those who pass the second screening will be contacted separately regarding the delivery of their works. The works that pass this second screening (selected works) will be exhibited at the Asakura Fumio Memorial Cultural Hall during the period of this exhibition.

We are planning to hold the final judging meeting (review of the actual production works) around June to July, and select 7 prize-winning works from the approximately 30 selected works.
The exhibition period is scheduled for mid-October to late November 2024.
