Main Exhibition Room: Nature and Human Life in Bungo Ono
The Relationship Between the People and Nature
From the Sobo-Katamuki Mountain Range with its precious plants and animals, to the rice and vegetable fields with the landscapes of wooded hills near residential areas, Bungo Ono has a lush environment, with Ono River, the main river in Kyushu, running through the center. And the people continue to lead lives here for a long time.
ZONE 3 describes the characteristics of the ecosystem of Bungo Ono, and features exhibits that show the relationship between the environment and livelihoods of the people.
